community, we explored cultural
stories and heritage of this land to
recognise a name that underpins the
estate’s purpose.

Together we arrived at the name
‘Yiribana’, which translates to ‘This
Way’ in Dharug darang.

We honour Dharug people and their ongoing connection to land, water and community. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging for they hold the memories, the traditions, the cultures and hopes of Australia’s First Nations peoples.
